Firstly we would like to thank the Shaadi.com team for bringing us both together. We still think about it all, and can't believe that this truely worked for us.

Rijo (in Qatar) contacted me (in UK) on 5th December 2003 and we chatted online on the 6th. The chat lasted 5 hours, we both felt something was ticking here, but didn't say anything to each other. From day one, we both told our parents that we were in touch with each other, so we got lots of encouragement from our them too. Our parents spoke to each other in January 2004 and they all got a long very well too.

Rijo and I kept in touch for 8 months but never met each other face to face. In August I went to Kerala and Rijo went too and on 9th August 2004 we finally met face to face. Both of us were so familiar with each other, so there was so tension or nervousness at all. We just chatted away, laughed and held hands, much to the amusement of our families.

We got married on 19th August 2004, and were blessed by all our family members from India and friends who made huge efforts to come from UK, Canada and Qatar to share our wonderful day.

We want to thank mostly God for blessing us so much, and bringing us together in such wonderful circumstances. And ofcourse thank you Shaadi for truely helping us to have a match made in heaven!
