As cliche as it sounds, I believe miracles do happen. Aarti and I began our Shaadi.com journey on April 7, a week after I received an interest from her parents. We started talking daily and took an instant liking to each other. I loved making her laugh and cracking 'poor jokes' with her. Before I knew it, I was smitten by her. One would think that distance makes relationships hard. With her in Singapore and me in Chicago, the distance and time difference posed a challenge. She made plans to visit me in Chicago in June end. We clicked even better in person that I'd thought. I proposed to her in Seattle atop a mountain on a trip to visit her siblings. We are blessed to have met each other and thank shaadi.com for connecting us. We're excited and looking forward to our wedding on December 14, 2014!
